The fourth in the chilling Hitman series featuring the cold-blooded killer Agent 47. Finding that members of his contract agency, The ICA, are now being quietly (and mortally) eliminated, Agent 47 suspects a larger organization is moving in. Fearing he may be the next target, he heads to America. His jobs now will pay in straight-up cash — and how he spends the money will affect what weapons he has and what he does next. The developer added new gameplay systems, such as the concepts of notoriety and of blood money. The new Notoriety system means that anyone causing a bloodbath worthy of front page news is risking being recognised by civilians and guards in the future. Blood money lets players spend their earnings on fully customisable precision weapons and specialist equipment, or they can buy additional information upon the targets and location at hand, to aid a successful and professional hit.

* U.S.A. environments: Agent 47 is heading to the U.S. making deadly stops in iconic locales such as Las Vegas, New Orleans, Los Angeles, and Mississippi.
* New game engine: Now that Agent 47 has a number of new moves, including the ability to create accidents and to dispose of bodies, as well as a re-vamped NPC and A.I. system, the world of being an assassin has never been more realistic.
* Blood Money system: Use your hard-earned cash to bribe the press and keep your picture out of the morning paper, or customize and upgrade your weapons to match your personal style of assassination. How you spend it is up to you.
* Professional rivalry: Agent 47 is up against a competing agency of assassins trying to take out high-priced targets, and may even become the primary target himself.
* Rookie training: New to the world of silent assassinations? The new rookie mode and levels of difficulty will give you all the training needed.
* Environmental danger: Drop a priceless chandelier or use a remote bomb—the all-new accident system allows for more freedom in choosing how you take out your target.
